Draw and drink whilst discovering the vibrant history of Norwich through sketching the historic pubs of the city in this combined drawing workshop and pub tour. Stopping at several landmark pubs such as Adam and Eve, Wig and Pen, Maids Head hotel and Lollards Pit we will explore the city's heritage and create a series of drawings using a range of representational and experimental techniques.
what you will learn
Practice expressive and observational drawing and learn specific techniques working from life and taking inspiration from the original features of these historic buildings as well as their contemporary narratives. Learn about the history of each pub from the familiar accounts to the unexpected and sometimes gruesome tales from the centuries gone by.

You will need a sketchbook and a pencil.
