Join this friendly Life Drawing class held monthly in Norwich. Both relaxed and comprehensive this class is a chance to sharpen up your life drawing skills or to try your hand at a new fun art activity.

what you will learn

Draw the model from a variety of both short and long poses. Learn and develop both observational and expressive life drawing techniques inspired by artists throughout history.

who is the class for

This is a taught class and is suitable for all levels, whether you are a complete beginner, would like to develop figurative technique to support an ongoing art practice, or are simply looking for a fun new activity on a slow Monday night this class offers an opportunity to enjoy life drawing, get guidance on techniques and practice alongside others in a relaxed and friendly environment. 

 

what you will need

Please bring your own materials if you can such as a sketchbook and a selection of drawing tools, I would recommend pen/ink, charcoal/chalk and pencils, both H and B. There will be some basic materials available at the workshop if you are unable to bring your own.

where is the class

The class will be held at the reputable Norwich art venue The Garage, we will be in the spacious mirrored studio 4.
