Discover the magnificent trees of Norwich's Mousehold Heath through sketching in this 'en plain air' drawing workshop. We will go on a walk through Mousehold Heath and engage with nature through drawing. We will meet at the Norwich Viewing Point on Britannia road, where there is parking and where the workshop will culminate at 3 pm - picture of the map below. The weather is taken into consideration for this event, the locations and trees should provide us with plenty of cover at each of the stops if it rains, but please do bring your umbrella as we well be walking from the various Mousehold Heath locations.
what you will learn
Learn how to draw beautiful trees and landscapes, and practice observational, expressive and experimental drawing techniques inspired by nature artists throughout history. Work from life and 'en plein air' whilst connecting to the sublime local landscape.
